New User Information

Thanks for your order of World Traffic.  Installation instructions and a quick start guide are here in the manual:

You will have received a temporary key file with your order that provides full functionality (click the link at the bottom of your order confirmation e-mail).  Put the temporary key file into this folder:
Within a week you will be e-mailed a permanent key which should be used since the temporary keys are invalidated after each World Traffic update.

Watch for World Traffic 3.0 (free for existing users) around Christmas which provides auto-flight generation capability and auto-ground routing and lots of other new features.  Until then you must download flight plans and ground routes or create your own using one of the tools mentioned below.

World Traffic comes with a few demo route files for Seattle (KSEA), Innsruck (LOWI), and Kai-Tak (VHXX).  You'll want to download more and the main World Traffic web site is here where you can find links to 3rd party add-ons (including hundreds of extra aircraft), and the forum which is an excellent place for support and sharing ideas:

Also make sure to get all of the new aircraft to work with World Traffic 2.0.  Make sure to get all of Bluebell's aircraft since these include most modern airliners and hundreds of liveries.  Find them here:  various aircraft packages

The Updates link is where you can download World Traffic updates at any time and there will be many.  The current version is World Traffic 2.1.3 which you can re-download at x-plane.org at any time or from here:
